I've been using H&R Block software to do my taxes for at least 15 years. I feel it makes preparing my own taxes very easy and I have confidence that they are done correctly. I will continue to use H&R Block tax software.

Fatal flaw in Mac version of Deluxe plus state.

The Mac version of the 2021 Deluxe had a flaw so bad that completing our taxes this year took us hours longer than it should have. Trying to get support to get this fixed was impossible.
If this is not fixed next year, we will no longer use this product.

Cons: Time consuming

The program incorrectly used a deduction amount in preparing the return. I was charged a tax due instead of a c refund. Guess you are off my list now.

My taxes aren't especially complex and the software handles everything fairly smoothly UNTIL the final review. Then it turns into a very frustrating experience, as the software flags numerous "errors" that MUST be "fixed" before I can e-file, but very little help is provided on HOW to correct the problems -- where to go, what to change, etc. -- and sometimes even tells me I can't do what the IRS form has already let me do! I took me less than an hour to enter the original data, but MORE than an hour to "fix" it. So no, I would not recommend this software.

Have used this software for years. For the past two years have not been able to down load data from my brokerage (Schwab) accounts. One of primary reasons to use software.
