Fed and state tax returns "accepted" but money not withdrawn. Cant reach a person with IRS or HR Block. Filing fees paid, receipts for both. What good is software if cant take it to the finish line? Suggestions?
I had read that e-filing my federal taxes meant I would get my refund faster. This was a year with a simple tax return for me, so I decided to give tax software a try. In the past I had always filed using paper returns. There is a learning curve, but because my tax return was simple, the learning curve was manageable. I will use H&R Block tax software next year, now that I know how it works.
Walks you through every scenario. I have just basic investments and this is perfect for my situation. Even helps you plan out next year. If you have questions, just click a button and it will further explain the information being asked.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
Great tool that I have been using for years now. The regular updates provide confidence that nothing will be missed. Simplifies how to account for stock sales, dividends, and distributions, as well as entry of my spouse's small business taxes. The guarantee that Block will provide backup if audited is outstanding.
