H&R block software easy to use. While I don't use all the bells and whistles I like the interview and review process.I especially like being able to file electronically. I use my computer every day (I am writing a memoir) so installation and activation of HRB'S stuff no problem.I live in France which sometimes poses an acqisition difficulty - I have used the software before HRB took it over (it was Taxcut) so more than 50 years.

I thought the H&R Block Deluxe 2021 Software was a good value, easy to use, and had clear instructions. It was great in all these areas, and I had no problem with them. What I did have a problem with was the accuracy of the program. It prompted me that I was eligible for a $1400.00 Recovery Rebate Credit, so I filed my return claiming that Recovery Rebate Credit. Sometime after that, I received my federal tax refund, but it was $1400.00 less than what the tax software program led me to believe I would receive. This was a disappointment to me. The same thing happened to my brother as well. He used the same tax software program as well.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been using H&R tax software for about 15 years. It is very cost effective and convenient. The software has improved with time. I wish it was available in Linux so I could ditch my Windows PC.
