First year I had problems with your product.

Had multiple issues with the validity check process. At 3 different times it reported entry errors or missing information. It happened even after the program indicated the tax return was ready to Efile. I will continue touse your ta return software even though this year was a hassle.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been using H&R tax software for years and never had any issue with my taxes. It is simple and my taxes are done in no time yet it is accurate and efficient. Never needed to look for any other tool. Recommended.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

I have used the Block Tax software for over a decade It has always been very easy to use.,
Plug in the numbers and answer the questions and in a few minutes you are all done.

Worse than 2021

I had to e-file my return without non-cash donations because I couldn't wait for the 2/17/23 "form update" from the IRS for the 8283. A paper version of the new f8283 was available on the IRS website, but I wanted to e-file.
I had to wait until February 3 to get started, also waiting for an delayed "update". H&R Block blames the IRS but other software vendors didn't have these issues.

Mixed feelings

I bought this on December 17th 2022 and try unsuccessfully in February 2023 , I discovered that they had sent me the software of 2021 taxes!! After 2 calls it was fixed but still it is very difficult to download the software.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this online late last year. I waited until I have received all my necessary papers and proceeded to input all my data. I even found what I thought to be an error and while discussing it with an H&R representative by phone discovered it was correctly reported.

Love H&R Block Deluxe for the last six years. Happy to be an EX TurboTax user. H&R B is a much better deal, easy to use, and has a simple intro that guides you through doing your taxes. This insures you don't forget anything while at the same time not being intrusive and drowning you in excess, unneeded guidance. Highly recommend. But help if available if needed. Almost anyone can do their own taxes even with multiple sources of income, property sales, investments, whatever.
