We have used this software for a few years. I like the way the personal information uploads from the previous year and I don't have to retype it all. The interview style of the software is very helpful. Whether to use itemized or standard deduction, etc.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

My record disappeared and I had to go through five people to get information on how to find it. I also can’t understand why the program kept duplicating itself.. Couldn’t get any help on that either.

When Federal return is completed the State tax form is generated super quick and ready for my review (if you have purchased the software that includes the state plan). I have been using HR Block Tax programs since 2012 and have been very happy with the overall performance and ease of use. I have some investments that are LLPs, and those are a challenge because of the reporting format. It would be helpful if the Deluxe software had an interview section or a more defined help section to make the information inputs easier.
