Easy to use software

This is about the 25th time I'm using H&R Block software and it is so easy to use. Keeps your return up to date and e'filing is terrific. I can't say much more than , do not hesitate to purchase and use this software!

Deluxe plus State

We are not happy with the H and R Block online program. For the past 2 years we have had to pay an additional fee for the State filing each year. The program states that the state is included with the Deluxe software price. This is very deceptive.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not Ready for Release at the Start of the Tax Seas

The software works well, and is easy to follow. Importing tax data from various sites was very simple. I've been using this software for 27 years.
The issue I had with it this year was that it was not ready for release when the IRS was ready to receive. One of the forms on the software program I needed to prepare my tax return was not ready until February 17. I looked at the IRS website, the form I needed was released by the IRS in November. As a reult, I had to delay filing filing my taxes about 3 weeks.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

Great Program

I have used this program for over 15 years and would not use another one. It is very easy to use and answers all questions that I have had. I highly recommend this program.

My Go-To Tax Solution

I’ve lost count of how many years I’ve used H&R Block software. To me, it’s the easiest to understand and use, and I am comfortable with the consistency each year of the program processes and step-by-step guidance questions. I have no desire to look elsewhere for a tax return solution.

Thorough and easy to understand

Switched from TT several years ago because of price and had only the features I needed. Very satisfied and have had no issues with federal or state taxes. Wish the display print was a bit larger for visually impaired people.

Pretty Straightforward

I've used this tax software for several years, and it's generally pretty straightforward to use, although there's a few minor quirks to get used to. For some reason, this year's version 2022) automatically checked the box indicating that I hadn't taken an RMD for my 401k and IRA, even though I wasn't required to. It didn't cause any problems though. Also, it would be nice if the software would report any capital loss carryovers to the next year on the summary sheet, instead of burying it on page 20 of the worksheets that don't get printed out or reported to the IRS. Took me an hour to find the exact amount it was carrying over to the next year. Other than that, love the product.

Two of the electronic imports from Ameriprise hung up the verification process. One placed a numerical value in a text block (it assumed a crypto transaction) and the other was a sub dollar interest (following rounding). It took a bit to correct since HRB help was cryptic. Corrected and was on my way.
