Been using this tax software for many years and have never been disappointed. Downloads and install easily and walks you through it step by step. It downloads all the pertinent info from the previous year and all you have to do is enter the new years numbers and add or subtract new items. Entered all the new data, printed both federal and state forms, and e-filed both returns in a half hour, or so.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Software Crashes Multiple times

Have used HR Block for many years with no problem........until this year!
Software crashes many times with having to enter drivers license and bank account info
3 to 4 times each.

Great product for another year

I've used this product for as long as I can remember and have always been pleased. I needed to file an amendment this year for the 1st time, and that worked well.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Terrible this year

Return has been in Pending status for several days. Yesterday I was told accepted by IRS. Today it is still in Pending status. Now I am told it was never transmitted to IRS. Which is it? I have used TaxCut for many years. Very disappointed this year.
Regarding the state return, when I went to e-file, I got a message that the state return needs to be paper filed.

Software crashes

I have used this product the last five years. 2021 product had some software issues, nothing too bad. 2022 product was pretty bad. Software would not update for about 2 days, once it did update, my saved tax return for 2022 was no longer recognized by the program. Had to start all over.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been using H&R for a long time. I like how it recovers information from my previous tax records. That eliminates a lot of searching for stuff. So far no audits and no problems.

Unable to uncheck checkbox,the IRS rejected 2022 federal return.

I was going to use the IPad product this year, but ended up back here using get the PC software version, as it is better equipped to handle Investment K1’s
