I would rank the Deluxe Plus State H&R Block Software higher but for many years now after purchasing the software, I still have to manually mail in my state Income tax forms - I CAN NOT electronically file them! And NO this isn't the 1st year this has happened! It's MANY YEARS!

I have used H&R Block Deluxe software for over a decade. It is easy to use and the work can be done at my own pace. I can easily save what I'm doing and leave the work to obtain more documentation or information and come back at a time convenient for me.
It is very convenient to have a means to check my own thoroughness with the simple click of a key.
The digital transmission of my 1040 to the IRS is free and works flawlessly.
The method employed by H&R Block is an interview process which provides the user the opportunity to enter data quickly and easily. A far clearer means to report income than struggling with a form 1040 and not be certain that you are entering the correct amount in the correct location.
