A disappointment this year. The program was late with updates delaying my filing by two weeks. A competitor found a larger refund. And as I am visually impaired I was distressed to discover the program could not be scaled larger on Windows 11.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund

The software is easy to install and use. I used this tax software for over 10+ years with no issues. One of the nice features is the import of personal data from the prior year. Unfortunately, I had to pay a small amount and was able to direct the IRS to debit my checking account with no fees !
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

Generally very giod software, and easy to use. Wish that the stock group reporting was in same sequence (revenue, then cost/basis) as individual stock sales. Also, that listing of stock sales moved up as more stock sales are entered

Filed a federal and state return with deluxe version. Later purchased a second state. Both states cannot be filed at the same time as the second is dependent on the acceptance of the first one. Later Once prepared I figured out the software cannot e-file the second state if no federal filing. So, steep fee for a state preparation , and then the only option - print and mail. Toooo bad!
Cons: Time consuming

Found an error last year. Pointed out exactly where. Still not fixed this year. Unable to file electronically this year due to “a glitch”. Filing on paper is a crappy solution. And this was sent to Daniel. My name is Wendy.

I was happy for many years but both of the last 2 years have had problems with their state program (MD). I called them twice last year and twice again this year to try and have them fix the issues. They either don't get back to you after you create a case # or they just hang up on you after talking with them for 15-30 minutes.

I have used this product since around 2001. It has never let me down. I especially appreciate the pop up boxes that provide additional information about topics you might not understand. You can use them without navigating away from the topic you are working on.
