My return was rejected by the IRS because of H&R block software and I received no explanation as to why. They just said I needed to update my HR Block software and resubmit. It leaves me with very little confidence in the software overall. If you're unable to submit the paperwork, how am I supposed to have confidence that the paperwork is filled out correctly?
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good tax software for most folks. Easy to use and gets the job done. I have three decades experience in Federal taxation so I take these matters very seriously. I just wish electronic filing of states taxes did not cost extra. I file a paper state return since I am frugal.
