The questions are a bit confusing with some of the added statements. It seems like they are written more confusing than necessary. I have an Accounting degree and have done taxes for many years

I would have given it five stars if the company hadn't made me go looking for the Deluxe edition WITHOUT the state forms. I live in Texas and there's no state income tax. Also, I don't have a very complicated income life, so the Federal Deluxe edition has been perfect for me over the years. The software is easy to use, it imports last year's return information right off the bat, and it has easy to understand prompts. A couple of things that could use a tweak. First, the screen showing last year's returns should be available at the start of each new return. I help my kids with their returns, and it always takes a little doing to start a new return with last year's after you've done the first one. At the end, where you to print the return, you shouldn't have to install ADOBE printer software if you already have it installed on your system. It's unnecessary and annoying. The software should recognize that an ADOBE printer is already installed. Lastly, please make sure that a Deluxe Federal only is available next year. There's a lot of us who don't need the state package.

Software failed to import previous year tax returns, and also failed to import 2022 tax data, forcing much hand entry. Attempting to utilize tech support was useless. I have used for many years, and it seems to be getting worse each year the past few releases.

HR Block Tax Software is very thorough and guides me through the entire Federal and State process. Since I have been using this software to do taxes for not only ourselves but also family members who have diversified careers in multiple states, the software retains information from year to year which makes my job much easier. Also the “Learn More” options explain in a lay man’s terms what must be included. Most of the taxes that I do can be completed in a few hours. The software is also excellent in finding entry errors as well as missing entries before filing can begin. Electronic filing is a breeze. Hurry and get started.

I have a large refund due but it can not get out of HRBlock software problems for 4 weeks and counting. All I get is that they are working on it. Really? First I had to wait for a connection issue with the IRD to be resolved. Now I am just waiting. Don’t go for the early discounts as their software issues are not worked out on the early versions
