The federal portion is great and was processed FAST. The CO state was not complete, and I have to wait for state to complete return - bad deal.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

The only problem I encountered was with a 1099-Misc with the royalties box checked. The interview does not specifically address royalties from oil and gas wells, nor does it ask about depletion allowance, etc. Took me a while to realize I needed to open the whole form to enter the relevant information.

I’m not savvy with apps, but H&R Block software is very user friendly. I’ve been using it for several years and it stores the previous years work place, bank titles, etc so as I type in the info it will populate the most recently used. I can then make changes if need be.
