I have been using H&R tax software for many years. While my return is simple, I've never had an issue with the IRS nor with the California Franchise Tax Board.

It does the job but it could be a lot easier. I often had to check another screen and then return to the one I was working on but it is inefficient in that I had to click my way through everything in between. I could probably have saved a few hours if I could just click something that would return me to the previous place I had been.

Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to import documents
