I've always liked H&R Block software for ease of use -- just copying information from tax forms sent to me and the software enters everything on the right lines of the tax return. This year, however, after finishing my return, the company failed to do my e-file properly. It transmitted my information, but 6 days later, the IRS rejected my return due to a software error, requiring the company to push a fast update and requiring me to then repeat my e-file. It worked correctly for the last 14 years, though, so hopefully this is just a hiccup in performance.

For the second year in a row I had to play around with the e-file pin #. When the software asks for a pin it's not the 6 digit you get from the IRIS. THERE ARE NO CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THIS WORKS. FIX IT OR I GO BACK TO TURBO TAX.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
