Everything worked well, as it has for the past several years. But downloading from investment accounts seems to be an issue, especially Charles Schwab. I had to manually input the summary pages rather than download.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

interview process still great! only negative was with filing and having a federal id.me which would not process because the feds change the password in january each year with out telling you. think maybe a warning in the software to alert one would be a great addition.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Software asks for total of itemized deductions from prior year even though I didn't itemize and won't let me enter 0. Asks for distribution code in box 7 of RRB-1099-R - Box 7 is "total gross paid", not distribution code. State return software mishandles Ohio lump sum distribution rules. After return is accepted, clicking the print screen button on the status page closes the program.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
