It is easy to use, downloads Investment Company's records so you don't have to enter them. For many years I have been able to seamlessly electronically submit my data to IRS and my state, As a matter of fact, H&R's state form is easier to use than the one provided for free by my state.
Pros: Easy to import documents

Just finished doing my 2022 taxes using H&R Block Deluxe. It worked great. I've used H&R Block software for years, but this is the first time that I downloaded all the 1099-DIV, 1099-INT, and 1099-R information from my financial institutions instead of inputting them by hand. Was even easier than I expected. I like the step-by-step interview process that takes you through all you need to input and gives excellent instructions. Doing the state taxes was also super easy including some tax credits that are unique to Arizona. I used E-File for both federal and state and both were officially accepted within minutes.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

The CSA 1099R did not have place to put in the State/payer's state number. I had to do my state tax's myself and mail it in.
Cons: Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

auto program updates failed every time (4 different updates) in 2023 Federal and State tax returns. Needed to manually update Federal by download each Mac OS update from their web site. The State App was not available online so had to get from customer support.
