HR Block moved data from last year’s tax return seamlessly. However, I had problems resolving two conflicting state returns that the software was incapable of resolving. I had to send one state return in by mail along with detailed pater copies of our Federal and other state return. Annoying!

Program doesn’t handle quarterly payments correctly. You have to enter dates that it expects versus the IRS dates that are allowed. The program insisted on a Jan 15 date to avoid late penalties where as the actual last date is Jan 17. It did this for federal as well as state. This rudimentary error makes me wonder about other errors that weren’t obvious.
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It seems to be very accurate, but the final printout doesn't look anything like the NC state form so it is very hard to follow.

I use this software every year, and I am always satisfied with my purchase. Federal and State edition. It's a good product for anyone to use! Oh I received a backup file of the software. Wonderful

Still a good tax software, but "help" needs help

I like the federal software but the help portion seems like it's lacking for 2022 - no specifics, just forms or basic instructions for entering information. The farm portion seems like an after thought - just has you put your information in the whole form where you think it goes.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
