Does the job. When starting from the previous year's data (even the competition's), you get a significant part of the identification and data necessary to efile. Importing information form a financial institution or a product like Quicken is good for the numbers - no typing - but you are still required to verify that the numbers have been checked before the return is finalized.

Most of the questions are clear and easy to answer. Annuities are not explained fully. I want to print copies of my return for me, but it is unclear how to do it and file for electronic sending. Want to see the question; Do you want to print a copy of your return for personal use? “Click here.”

Functionality is acceptable for Federal tax return but inadequate for Alabama State tax return - specifically due to software incapable of filing electronically. Likely will not continue use of H&R Block in future tax returns.

THE EXTRA $1,400 FOR STD DEDUCTION WAS HARD TO FIND. I SPENT A LONG TIME TRYING TO FIND OUT WHERE THE EXTRA $2,800 CAME FROM. FINALLY I HAD TO GOOGLE IT. OTHERWISE THIS WAS THE EASIEST YEAR IN A WHILE. I HOPE I DIDN'T FORGET SOMETHING.
