Thanks HR Block! I have been used this software since 2004. Easy for any changes the government makes.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund

Much less user friendly than Turbo Tax. Errors every year until they finally fix it in April. The only reason I use it is the price on the product that includes stock sales.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare

Problems never fixed---repeat from year to year. Phone calls don't help--disconnect after time on phone and you never get a call back. NY State must be mailed every year even though they want you to e-file.

I've been using this application for five years now. This year I had the most problems with it. It did not save info from my W-2 when I entered it and initially when entering 1099 forms it asked for an account number but it really wanted the TIN which it asked for later using TIN instead of account.
Pros: Easy to prepare
