Efile fee for state tax return should be included in the price just as the federal Efile fee is.

I have used H&R Block software for many years. I like the convenience of carrying data over from the previous year. I had a disappointing experience this year with a number of program crashes. I was careful to save my return often, so was able to complete and submit.

I have been using this software for at least 20 years and have never had any issues. I find it easy to download (or in olden days load from a cd) and install. The interview, review process, and form completion has been almost flawless, with very minor exceptions on some more obsecure forms.

Software and uaer interaction worked well and efficiently. Liked that you can go directly to tax form for context. Overall better value than TurboTax.
Took one star away because you can't really export last year's info from Turbo Tax because TT does not provide file format required for import to HRB. Statement in HRB description jacket on display re' "easy to transfer info from last year's TurboTax" must be deleted; this is not true.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents
