If I said my 2022 filing was quick and easy, that would only be a slight exaggeration. I've been doing my taxes via H&R Block for 20 years or more, so I'm quite used to it. And now retired, my tax situation is somewhat simpler in some places, but more complex elsewhere.
After many years of using HR Block tax software this will be my last year of doing so. Had multiple issue with change in dependents and the software not accepting the change. Ended up doing state taxes by hand. Plus still had software updates in late March, what about the folks whom already submitted earlier, are there errors in their taxes?
