I've used various tax preparation software applications over the years and the past 4 years have stayed with H&R Block. The User Interface is fairly easy to navigate and the flow is quite intuitive. One area that I think could be improved is better clarity if/when you get a warning during the final reviews.

I've been using a form of this software for over twenty years starting when it was Tax Cut. It is easy to install and use. It is accurate and has an intuitive menu/question format. It is accurate and affordable. I highly recommend this tax software

Easy to use. Reasonably priced. Customer Service has improved and is very helpful. However, make sure you download software after most of the updates have been included, usually sometime in late February / early March.

I have been using this program for a few years now and I am very happy with it. It is very user friendly, acess to all forms with instructions if needed, ability to print out or save whatever you need, and saves information from the previous year for seamless tax prep the following year. Also able to complete family members' returns. Can Efile for fed and state or print to mail. Very happy 🙂

The program has calculated my state taxes incorrectly 3 years in a row even after telling them about it after the first year. Fortunately, the state was decent about it. They sent me a "tax due" letter, telling me what the problem was and accepted my modified return after presenting it, and a 1099 to prove my deduction. I won't be buying it in the future.

Very good tax preparation software. It’s not perfect and could use some minor improvements in a few areas, but for the most part it does the job. I’ve never encountered any freezing or other computer glitches using it. There occasionally is a couple interview questions that are ambiguous or don’t even make sense. Estimated tax section is very lacking and absolutely needs to be revamped.
