I downloaded the software and ran into trouble with Microsoft. I done filing three times but could not send it. CALLED H&R, wait times 45 min, its April 15. They called back in 30 min. another 5 and I was done. Glad it was not software fault. Will continue to use it.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

The program is getting better and better each year. The only issue that might need some review is the terminology surrounding the entering the AGI during the submission process. The wording is a bit confusing; I got the impression that the program would automatically enter the prior year's AGI, although the screen showed $-0-. Then, the re-entry screen is a bit confusing. Overall the program is great.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

State pay twice

E file together, pay state, fed rjects as AGI was off. Correct AGI it wouldn’t let me go until paid state again. Yhe state was on hold until fed accepted, your system mafe me double pay the state e file fees. Thats BS
Cons: Time consuming

Appallingly buggy - I was SHOCKED

I’ve been using H&R since “TT” became overpriced in the 90’s, but I guess I’ll have to go back to Intuit because of H&Rs horrificly poor (or non-existent) quality control!
I had to repeatedly leave the “interviews” to manually correct many forms - even W2’s, the SIMPLEST tax form, yet H&R could not seem to process them!
From insult to injury, I was not even able to eFile two of the four SIMPLE family returns I prepared, and the next update to address some of these problems is scheduled to release on 4/20/23 - TWO days AFTER the deadline to file! :-(
Cons: Time consuming

Bad "robots"

In using help there are too many robots that lead you to options with no option for NONE and then it just leaves you hanging. Obviously not tested very well.Also not 24 hours....with so much overseas help why not go 24 hours???? Prior yearrs software were better.

I use this every year and am very happy with it. It adds info from last years and saves a lot of work and as far as I know it's always accurate.

Please make it easier to open a line or box especially if you have to go back to one Also, I had 1 document only partially imported. I noticed when I did my state that it had 0state taxes paid. This made a difference with my Fed and state tax.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

Been using H&R for years. For some reason this year’s software did not import last year’s data which is on the same computer. Never asked to import and if there was a way to do it such was not obvious. Wasted my time.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
