Got worse over the years

Tried to scan a W2 and that messed up everything. Had to manually correct a couple of forms (e.g., missing address). At some time I player around with some number and then, when I deleted what I tried, it would not go back to the original numbers. A little bit disappointed, it was better in earlier years. Not sure I trust the overall end result.
Cons: Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

Federal worked fine but PA state had issues with my wife’s retirement. Used this for 15 years. This year will be my last.

I have used and trusted H&R Block Deluxe for several years now. The program is easy to use and makes it almost impossible to mess it up.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

Your Missouri State Tax software didn't allow me to efile because of a underpayment penalty. So I had to file by paper. Pretty rudimentary and it would appear to be a common occurrence. You advertise 5 free federal filing and I was only allowed one. Also what's up with having an update scheduled for the 20th of April 2 days after filing. I have been using your software for almost 20 years and am now looking at other packages

Worst filing experience of my life

This was my worst experience filing taxes that I’ve ever had. I needed a second state and purchased the download. It was no where to be found and I followed all of their troubleshooting. I sat on the phone for 1.5 hours waiting to speak to someone and finally gave up and had to repurchase the state download which finally worked. It then wouldn’t let me e-file the second state and I had to mail it in instead. FIX YOUR SOFTWARE and hire some customer service.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

Rejected return!!!

A typo occurred in my SSN and my Fed return was rejected. I went to Personal Info and corrected the entry, saved and filed again. Rejected AGAIN! Opened return and found that my change didn't "take." Changed again, saved, closed, opened... didn't take?! It was only when I went to "show form" and made the change there that it "took." Opened and closed return 3-4 times to make sure. Submitted again, accepted. I've used H&R software for decades but my confidence in it is terminally damaged.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
