Major problems because of a K-1 schedule. Major problems with NJ State return…still cannot submit it. NJ cannot accept the electronic submission and I am not able to get the state information into a pdf. Disaster. Probably will need to fill out state forms by hand.
Cons: Time consuming

Garbage software. Hidden fees. Facilitates late/missed tax payments. They lobby the govt so we have to go through this crap every year, unlike other 1st world countries.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

Easy to use, easy to file online for free. Maybe on the future program tax programs state filing can be free to file to.

Great software

I've been purchasing this software now for several years and really enjoy the features and ease of use. I was a little disappointed this year, that my previous year returns was not able to load so I had to manually enter essential information (name, address, etc.).
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

State filing annoying & expensive

I have used this for years now. This year my 'deluxe' edition made me pay for state filing, again & again. Quite annoying. May look at other options next year.

Confusing

Everything was fine until I wanted to efile. I thought I could file the federal and state separately, so I efile the federal first. Then, I go back and tried to find the same page for efile the state, and it wasn’t there. I cannot get anyone from customer support to help me submit my state taxes.
