My return is complex and some of the input for an S corp is tough to follow, especially the last few boxes. Also, the error checking for items imported from the broker saved me time and then wanted to verify them which was tough. Submitted both electronically and made out the check, then forgot to put the check in the envelope and mailed that envelope. Then, all new envelope, new 1040

After using your product for more than 16 years,the lack of advising, before my purchase of your software, that Block failed to connect to Merrill Lynch this year was inexcusable. I will definitely be researching that this has been rectified before any purchase is made next year.
Cons: Hard to import documents

Not again!

At this point, I do not even think I should give it a one star. Two years ago, we could not even efile our taxes because of a glitch on HR Block's end. Then this year, it "flagged" numerous issues on our return that were 100% correct!! I re-entered numbers that were already valid and it still "flagged" our return federal return. Again, it was 100% accurate. Then we could not efile the state return due to another "flag" that did not even apply to our situation!! Also, another return I did for someone, would not allow to efile because they had more than three depreciation items on their return. No where does it state that when you buy the program

Great software. One big issue I have is there is no back to where you where option. Not the "back" button. But it would be nice to have a list drop down as to where the last 10 pages you were on. Otherwise no problems. Been using it for 20+ years.

I have been using H&R Block Tax Software to prepare my personal taxes for over 25 years. The product has supported my family very well and I have moved to the more complex versions as my personal tax needs have also become more complex. I have also utilized Deduction Pro to easily account for my donations of goods. I list every item vs "a bag of men's cloths." and get the maximum donation from the items.
I feel the software lets me own my finances related to Tax. I do not like paying excess taxes and feel H&R Block has ensured I have not.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund

Every year I buy TaxCut instead of TurboTax because it’s a little cheaper and it feels like TurboTax is the big guy on the block. Every year I’m a little disappointed, but not this year. This year I’m a LOT disappointed. It seems shoddier and missing features. One example: the right click option to see “comes from” works even less often than usual. I’m not in front of the program right now, but if I were I could give several more examples. Next year it will be TurboTax

I could not get an answer when i queried the AI,
I could not find it when I looked it up in Forms,
