The program works very well, much better value than intuit. The only problem was when trying to efile the return kept bouncing but the instructions said what was needed to be corrected. When followed the efile went through. I just wished the program filled this field correctly.

Too many errors

I have been using HR for the last 7 years after switching from TurboTax. This year, I have seen too many errors that weren't errors that I had to fix. I don't know how many times I had to delete certain lines over and over again because I was not entering that at all, and it insisted that I did. It said I was giving alimony and I wasn't. Asked me to enter information multiple times that I did. Might have to go back to TurboTax and see if they solved their issues while HR fix theirs.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used HR Block for many years, but don't like that there are many K1 codes that it will not address other than saying refer to the instructions. I bought the software so I would not have to refer to the instructions.
