Bad gateway error.. then get email saying it was accepted but software still shows not submitted.. I should get a refund son my purchase! So is it really submitted and accepted'

I've used HR Block tax software for years and it improves every year. My only critique is that some options still require a fairly deep amount of tax law knowledge. Like one of the entries that I almost missed this year when I was doing taxes for my deceased mother was to put an entry in for the Perkins Law. I had no clue what that was and I couldn't tell by he retirement paperwork that was a field I needed to do something with. Fortunately, I was able to catch it before sending in our paperwork.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

Disappointed in Server overload on April 14 & 15. Could not even file an extension on night of 14 & 15. As a result have to go and stand in lines at the USPS

I have been using this for about 6 or 7 years with only some minor issues. Used this when TurboTax changed. This time around I could not fix a problem to submit my taxes and has to use another program. It kept telling me to fill in a box that I couldn't find to fix.

I have used HR Block for as long as it been around and this was THE WORST iteration there has ever been. Navigating the app was a nightmare. I'm hoping this was just a poorly plan year of updates and written code. I will give it one more year. If it socks again I will buy something else.

Did the job but…..

Have used for many years..never a prob. This year had tremendous trouble w deleting info & keeping it deleted. Had to go into forms & delete off there but only after many tries.
Now it’s having trouble connecting to check file status…worked 3 days ago on another return..but now the current one is not showing updated status. This will be the last year w H&R Block..just too many glitches & aggravations. Also had a form pop up for Ira distributions - however never had distributions /or excess contributions..all the form had on it were zeros. Very troubling.
