I've been using this tax program for at least 30 years and it's the only one I'll ever buy. It has never failed me. It makes preparing my taxes a breeze.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents

I've used HRBlock tax software for two decades. The interview is easy to follow and the program does all the math and various forms for one price. The program helps print, efile, backup and convert to PDF, all at the touch of a button. My only ding from five stars is that it costs extra to efile a state return. I'm buying a program that gives me 5 free Federal efiles, but then I buy State AND pay to efile a state return. Really? You could do better here, HRBlock, because your program is so good.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents

No apologies? No special discount if I decide to buy it for the next year? I printed out the 28 pages of my return. Ready to get in the car and drive 30 mi to mail it but luckily it went through late afternoon then sending the message that I had a problem with my gateway connection. really?!!!

Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund

Efile not available the day before the return

Hi, I bought this and have used HR Block for the last 3 years to save a little money. I do not like it as well as Turbo Tax. In addition, HR Block had a problem a day before the return was due and I was not able to file the return during that period
Cons: Time consuming

HRB e-file server was down on April 14-15

I've used HRB Deluxe without problem over many years. This year may be the last. Their server couldn't submit my e-file starting on April 14, and it wasn't until April 15 that they posted an alert on the app home page that the problem was on their end. Wasted too many hours attempting to get a successful submission, until finally it worked midday on April 15. This is unacceptable for tax software on Tax Day!
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
