As usual HP double-imports just about every form. At one point they actually showed 400 % of my actual investment income, and I had to go back and debug. Secondly because of an M&A related stock distribution, I had 182 different transaction dates resulting in 364 1099B lines. HP required me to open and accept each form, rather than just to accept the distribution information as presented by the ESPP.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used TaxCut for more than a decade. This year will likely be the last. The e-file process was broken, frustrating and stress inducing. I will be exploring alternative modes of managing tax season in 2025

The program is easy and very user friendly. I'm upset tho because my credit card was charged twice to e-file and my returns didn't go through because the server was down. Now I have to wait 10 days for my bank to refund those charges
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to import documents

Server error, bad gateway message when trying to submit for e filing. Starting the day before taxes are due and continuing into the day taxes are due. So much for e filing.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
