While the filing and tax documentation process was Ok, I was upset that it costs SOOOOOOO MUCH and then you got to PAY to file the State return Electronically!!!

Too many glitches. It cannot read prior returns so you need to reenter everything. The help explanations are useless. Started using it a few years ago and noticed it is the same program as turbotax Could it be a coinidence that neither software could handle dependents when multiple support agreements are in place? That said, I used it to save a few dollars. Turbo tax is not better, but I cannot recommend either.

After many years of successful e-filings, some bad experiences last year, I resorted to paper filing in order to move forward. I had to determine if I could re-capture that which I had enjoyed for years successfully e-filing with H&R Block Deluxe. Thankfully, my mission was accomplished.

Used H&R block tax prep software once again and successfully filed my Federal and State return. Very easy process to prepare returns and E-filing was simple and quick. Very economical way to prepare returns

Program is getting harder to use. It wasn't compatible on my Chromebook laptop. It went reluctantly on my older (6 years old) laptop. I will probably use it but if someone other than TurboTax makes a program, I would probably try theirs (like IRS expanding theirs). I had the same issue in 2022 for my 2022 taxes. I would hesitate to recommend it unless the only alternatives were spending a lot of money for a tax preparer or TurboTax. Then prepare yourself to spend some frustrating time.

I had to reentered my data 3 times and every time I was asked different items & instructed to send different stuff to the IRS.also got 3 different answers. Once data was entered , I was unable to delete it.
