The formatting was a little off to me. I didn't like the fact I had to override my AGI because it got rejected because it didn't import the whole number. I also didn't like I actually had to pay to file my state which is what I thought the deluxe + state was for not to mention was charged twice for filing state because of the federal rejection. Definitely needs clarifications on your packaging.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Did taxes correctly but major problem submitting

Due to problems on your end I was unable to submit my taxes electronically. However, it seems you submitted the payment but not the tax return. Since the eFile did not work I sent them in by mail along with a large check. I'm now waiting to see if they will cash that check, resulting in a double charge. I would call that a major problem.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Time consuming

Had a couple issues with this year's software.
1. Was getting a notification that my Medicare taxed withheld was higher then normal. Checked with my employer and there is no issue as it is a set percentage.
2. When e filing, it never gave me a notice that it was received by the IRS. Sometimes it was not responding but did receive an email from h&r that it was accepted.

Easy to set up and use, imports all my data with ease and accuracy and prompts me for any omissions or errors. I have been using H&R for almost 10 years now and this year there was just issues after issues. First it was with finalizing forms for EV tax credit and then it was with a stupid limit of max 3 forms for e-filing for 8938 introduced this year in the s/w forcing me to paper file. And all of this even after reimporting last years returns and having spend 4-5 hours finalizing everything and you give a stupid limit message at the very end. Wow ! Who developed this years edition ?
