I like this product, and I would recommend it to friends and family. My only draw back is that requiring the adjusted gross income from the prior year to finish your tax return.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

Been using HR Block software for 10 years and it has worked well. This year federal efile was a disaster - panic attack. Software said gateway error and my return status was not filed. confirmation message said federal return accepted. Which was right? Since i wanted to avoid a late payment penalty, i printed and mailed my 37 page return. I waited til last day waiting for moving funds to my checking. Confusion caused much stress-shouldnt have counted on efiling. I will probably look for a better way next year.

The one feature that perplexes me is: if your taxes are rejected, you have to pay again each time they are rejected. I don't understand why.

There is limited ability to find the exact place to change an answer. The "Take me to" feature is valuable, but not granulated enough. One can not land in the precise line desired. The software hides lines that you may want to change, it's difficult to maneuver precisely. The error checking lacks clarity, it does not really help you solve the error and it hides most of the form where the error is located. On Schedule C, it never asks about "Cost of goods sold", so one must improvise on a different line. That's inexcusable.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

I am typically happy with the software and the preparation was easy but the most important part being able to submit electronically especially in the most crucial time I was very disappointed by and actually purchased another tax preparation software due to the length of time and no updates on eta for the fix. I will likely use a different tax software next year for that reason. If no other time you should have had 24hr readiness support on 4/14&4/15
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming
