got an email confirming my return was accepted - but the program says i did not file yet (yes, I am checking with the correct return) I am being held hostage until the serious problem is fixed.

It mostly works as expected but this year the efile process didn't work properly. The efile was failing with an error message claiming internet problems. However I have reveived the confirnation email that the filling was accepted. I've checked the status on the IRS website and it shows my return was filled but the software still shows that it wasn't.

It’s quick & easy to do my taxes but the communication about the servers being down in the north east & then finally posting an update saying a small number of users were affected was infuriating. Any clue how many people paid for eFile & couldn’t then had to go out, buy ink and/or a printer to submit returns all bc of lack of communication. This was my last year using your service. I cancelled automatic renewal. Bye
