The best indicator of the quality of a product is whether or not a consumer would buy it again. I've used this software since 2014, switching from TurboTax after that company started charging extra for some features of their product. I've been very happy with HR Block software. Easy to use and accurate.

One return I did was easy but another return attempted with HR Block could not be timely completed since the FEDERAL EV form was not available until very late. This caused a large refund to be several months late and cost me the use of those funds. I had to use another tax service to do my return even though I paid for HR Block. I have used HR Block for many years. It is much cheaper than TurboTax but just as good. However , this year I was disappointed.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
