H&R BLOCK LATE IN PROVIDING FORM THAT I NEEDED

I needed a form in order to complete my 2023 Federal return, but H&R Block did not have it finalized until late March 2024. They should hire more experienced software engineers so they do not have this problem again. I am still deciding as to whether I should buy their software next year.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this early in the year. I finished my taxes but the program wouldn’t allow me to submit them because a form in the program wasn’t updated. I texted my concerns but no one responded. Form was updated a few weeks before deadline but I don’t trust it anymore.

I have always used the Federal only software and decided to spend extra for the state software. Very disappointed to learn there was an additional charge to file the state after paying extra for the state software. Did not find the state software user friendly nor very beneficial to use. Ended up using our state website and it was easier and resulted in a larger refund.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
