Prepared taxes effectively but any time I accessed help on my Block software, I had to shut down the browser and software to get out of the help system. I did not have an "exit" or "return" button on my help screen! (Using Microsoft Edge browser software)
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Unlike prior years, H&R Block this year allowed me to e-file my Federal, Kansas and Missouri income tax returns at the same time. In prior years, the software would only allow me to e-file my Federal and Missouri returns at the same time. During these years, I had attempted to also e-file the Kansas return at the same time, but the software produced an error message, of some kind, and stated that it could not e-file the Kansas return. This year, thankfully, I was able to e-file all three returns at once.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

I have used H & R Block for many years and trust their results. The year to year carryover is helpful as is the carryover from Federal to State. I do find I have to dig to discover the why behind the state form results.

I had to file the form for used EV credit. You postponed the form preparation again and again and again. So I moved to other free tax return tool, and it had been accepted in a minute. Will never use HR block again. It was wasteful spending for thisnyear. Horrible software.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

My return has not accepted by IRS for numbers that are not recognized from the 457bs on my 1099s I can only enter the numbers from the 1099. However when I mailed it in the IRS had no problem sending me my refund

We bought this hoping for an easy tax filing. It was very stressful since there were technical problems that impacted many customers.It took waiting on hold for an hour after several attempts before it was resolved. I’m still seeing multiple filing charges pending on my credit card that I have to resolve. Very unhappy with this year’s filing process.
