Software typical , no better no worse than others. Upon trying to file, servers had a major glitch, no direct human interaction via support 2+ hours in chat to at last have someone advice " we are working on the problem try later " !

Nothing at all worked until just before tax time. When it came to retirement contributions, it made *me* calculate limits. Isn't that what I bought the software for?
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

Compared to HRB TY 22 the TY 23 version is more user friendly. I remember taking the preparer class offered by H+R B in the early 80's and to see how the software has gradually improved over time makes me want to continue purchasing the product.

I referred an issue with the software and was given a ticket that was subsequently cancelled without my knowledge. I had to override a number of entries in order to finish my return. I’m done with HRBlock after a number of years.

Used H&R Block for decades. Mostly great but one thing remains through the years is that there are always a couple of “possible errors” at the end that are unclear and take a great deal of time to correct or never really understand.
