Application works well and is fairly intuitive. Just don’t get fooled into thinking that you need to pay H&R Block a fee to pay your taxes. You can file your state via print/mail-in and your federal via the government's own website for free. Neither of these options are presented or offered. (Not surprising.)

I’ve probably been a HR Block client for close to 10 years now. A friend at work recommended HRB after I became irritated with the first tax software I had been using. HRB is very user friendly and well written. It runs flawlessly an actually makes tax preparation easy to accomplish.

Really like the completeness and the easy import functions of the H&R Block Deluxe + State. Helped make completion of Federal and State taxes quicker and easier; also helped with getting refunds more quickly. Only thing I would like to see more of is explanations or links to information about certain terms or types of taxes/situations. While the program does a good job of asking about these situations, the terms/questions don't have as many links to explanations or tax rules as I would like. Sure, once you've had the event occur once in your taxes it will look familiar to you in the future, but if it's new that year, how do you even know what to call it or if the IRS even cares.
