Generally very helpful software but sometimes difficult to do (or miss) basic functions because you dont see the forms. For example, got rejected first time because I didnt put in an IRS PIN. My bad, but why didnt software ask if I had one (especially since I've had one and used thru HR Block software for the last 5 years)?

Works OK. The key benefit is that it is cheaper than TurboTax which works the same (no better or worse). Form 1116 is terrible and does nothing more than doing it all myself. The extra cost to file an extension (a very simple form) is not justified, You should do it for no charge.

Good product, trust it's integrations for w-2 and 1099/investment data, trust the accuracy of calculations for deductions and capital gains complexity. This year was not a good one for HRB. The desktop user interface and user experience seem stuck in the nineties. Something I overlook since my priority is accuracy not software look and feel. My code for free e-file wouldn't work, but the support process steps to get it replaced did work and made it just a minor nuisance. The real headache was when the systems for importing data and transmitting e-filed returns began a "nuclear meltdown" in the 36 hours preceding the April 15, 2024 deadline for filing. Those systems eventually came back online with a few hours to spare, but the energy I had to put into strategizing a "plan-B" of mailing paper documents to IRS and state brought me a few more gray hairs.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
