I've usred H&R tax software for more than 30 years, easy to use and great value.
But as I've gotten older, the text size is so small that it's harder and harder to read, the software guy's need to fix this problem and allow for larger screen zooming to page width. The program to do Tax Estimating for next year needs more flexibility other than based on last years taxes, by allowing manul imput of Income other than 90% or 80% of last years gross incom/

Does simple things well - more complex not so well. Don't say to upgrade - tried that and got the same issues with depreciation and 1099s and corrections.
Cons: Hard to prepare

I have been using HR Block from it's onset. I even worked with HR to debug the early version. There is one problem that I think should be addressed and that is when the program is updated the software should identify what version of the software you have. I picked the wrong version and there wasn't an easy fix because of the wrong software version.
