I use H&R Block Deluxe software every year to do my own taxes. This makes it so easy for me as I don't have to be an accountant to complete. Very easy to navigate and understand. Easy to save copies in PDF format and process electronically.

Deluxe with state program Interview process did not allow for entry of all the data points given on my Schedule K-1 form.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

Now I've used H&R Block Premium + State for several years. Always very easy to negotiate around "Shoebox style" as well as interview style. I really like that last years info is automatically uploaded each year. It's VERY unlikely I will ever use any other tax program.

Wouldn't let me use online help or e-file because it said I didn't have a network connection. I tried all the suggestions regarding proxies and firewalls yet it still didn't work. I had to drag out my old Windows 10 desktop which wasn't very convenient or fast. I'll choose something else next year because now I just don't trust it to work with Windows 11.
