I have used this software for years and appreciate its features. The IRS (actually Congress) makes changes and/or additions every year which makes filing ones taxes challenging. One year I tried a different software and found it awkward to navigate.

The software worked well but they need to explain the standard deduction before listing all the itemized items. Most people have a ballpark idea whether they can make the standard before they enter all the items that won’t make any difference in their taxes if they take standard deduction

First time using HR Block to do our taxes and had no issues downloading and was easy enough to submit. Only problem I had with this was that we paid for the Federal and 1 state but still had to pay an additional amount to submit the state taxes. Not sure why that would be.
