I have been using H&R for a couple of years now, and I like the overall features of this product, and its ease of use. Ability to use one copy for 5 returns is great value. One room for improvement: if you go through a return mid-way and come back later, it is confusing to get back to the point where you left off, as the software directs you to start from the beginning.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

Does a great job working through an overly complicated process. Might do a better job getting through the crazy K-1 forms, but i just muddle through it. I dont think the IRS understands them either.

I bought for the help with new laws. I bought Deluxe because of free state. Not so, I had to pay for the state. The program helped a lot, but was not honest about the cost.

I have used H&R Block Deluxe tax software for 20 + years for me and my family. Even when I needed the more involved forms it was helpful by asking questions first. The Federal to State Data transfer was seamless and their knowledge of state and Nexus was helpful.
Federal e-file was free for 5 returns, but the state e-file there is a charge.
