I had trouble with the software for the first time in over a decade. Although the matter was referred to IT, it was Titus Lake who was able to zero in on the problem which was my data entry for our W-2s.

I've been using this program for many years but found the W2 scanning features to be buggy this year. I ended up hand entering three W2s to make it work. Expensive and just OK. Hoping our friends at the IRS can get it together to create user-friendly tax software for a taxing process next year.

I've used H&R for over 15 years. The software has also improved too. Once done via H/R the results have allowed me to "audit free" for all the years. They do a great job of making sure your tax forms are correct. This year I was rewarded with a much larger refund. Great product; great service!!

I would like to recommend that the option of allowing user to choose the option of not rounding off inputs like Turbo Tax allows. I know it does not change tax accuracy but it would make double checking inputs and imports when I have multiple investment inputs only differ by less than 1 dollar.

Overall it is a good product. Some of the sections need good help/examples to illustrate. Does not have good options for filing extra taxes for the current/next year. Contacting anyone is a pain.
