I have used the H&R Block product every year since at least 2007. In prior years I used the competitor's product but switched when that product failed to cover certain aspects of my requirements and I have been totally satisfied and happy with the Block product ever since.

Charitable donations schedule severely lacking

Ratings below are based on charitable donations schedule.I have used this product for years and I love it. My one complaint is your VERY limited choices for charitable donations. This was one of my comments on a previous survey and it's still lacking. I have a lot of donations and it's frustrating enough to consider going back to TurboTax.

Unfortunately, this software is dependent on resources on remote servers, i.e. "in the cloud." That means that when the company's servers are down, the application does not operate properly. Worse, when that happens, a message pops up saying something like "It looks like you're not connected to the Internet." Users can easily waste an entire day trying to fix the problem on their end, when in fact the fault lies with the program design.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
