I have used H&R Block tax software for more than eight consecutive years; actually since before the program was available only on CD. I enjoy it's consistency of layout year after year so I don't have to relearn how to use it year to year. I frequently use its "Go to" function so I can easily return to, or review, incomplete or questionable sections. I also like its pop-up "information" windows to help clarify when and how how to handle data to be entered.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

I’ve been using this tax software for over 20 years and will buy next year. I started using after we had our taxes done by a tax professional. I decided to see if I could do better if I did myself so I bought the software and did my taxes. I get a higher refund so that is how it started and I never had anyone do my taxes again.

Can’t recover submitted federal return

I submitted and owed. Money has t been taken out of my account yet. My Mac had to be rebooted so I had to reinstall the app. There’s no record of any return. It’s also stupid that the return isn’t populated in my regular HRBlock account.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
