I have a six digit An Identity Protection PIN (IP PIN) In the beginning of the forms I was able to enter the six digit number at the end I was only able to enter five digits and it failed to upload the forms error saying incorrect An Identity Protection PIN (IP PIN) and I had to mail it in. My friend used turbo tax and had no problem with his An Identity Protection PIN (IP PIN) I will use turbo tax next year
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I use this software every year and am able to do my taxes and my dependent (working internships or summer jobs) kids' taxes, too! I even can buy an extra state when one of the kids is working out of state. It's easy to use, although this year was a bit more difficult as I waited for the federal government to finish updating tax laws, but I've never had any difficulty with getting my return accepted and getting my taxes done on time.

Don't know exactly but I believe I have been using H&R Block software for over 25 years. It seems to me that every year the program gets easier to use. The 2023 version was the easiest and most user friendly version by far. I'm 82, but as long as God gives me breath I'll use H&R Block to do my taxes. Keep improving!!

After using turbo tax for 8 years I finally had enough of the long (2-3 minute)updates each time I opened the program. Overall very happy with H&R Block, it was easy to follow although got a little weird with the state return. You would think programmers at H&R Block could somehow incorporate the reader so I do not have to download a 3rd party software. That was my only complaint.
I would recommend this to a friend!
