I have been using this software for many years. Most of the time it is easy to follow. When there are unusual circumstances (like amending a return), it can be a little hard to follow the first time through. The user needs to be familiar with his own income and deductions.for this program to be useful.

Everything went well on Fed return and I submitted it. Then I was doing my state return and before I submitted I quit the program to check some data. When I started it up again a notice appeared that there was a Fed update. I clicked update and it did the update. I continued my State return but when it came time to submit it it would not let me. Apparently, the flag that indicated I had submitted my Fed return was deleted by the update. I couldn't even print the State return for mailing as there a water mark on the PDF pages saying it was not for submission. I ended up having to do it be hand!
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
