I had to contact customer service to get the State download added to my purchase of federal/state package. I was also supposed to get a free(1) online State filing. I did not get the free online State filing and was told by a customer representative that the filing was not included. I checked the offer and it was to be included. Disappointing.

Year in and year out it is a very easy software to use. Never had any accuracy issues. Never have received an audit or a letter from the IRS or state for an error. My only comment is that I wish I was allowed to pay for extra returns beyond the five they give. I do the taxes for my family, which is totals 7 returns. I have to buy another software, which might be cheaper than paying for two more returns, it is just that I have to load it on another computer to do so or I have to wipe the previous one of the original computer. Small issue but it is on my wish list.

I got a yellow error that I couldn't get to go away, so I had to send it in that way. There was a comment that this error "might" be okay, but a "might" with an error did NOT make me feel comfortable sending it in.

Disappointed in how Taxcut encourages people to have to buy yet another product in order to log crypto transactions. The free tier won’t even cover someone who only casually trades and completes rewards on the platforms. And forget it if you have anything that is staked and rewards daily.
